1.How does the SFEIXE device work?

SFEIXE is an easy-to-use, safe choking rescue tool designed for both children and adults. In a choking emergency, simply place the mask securely over the person’s mouth and nose, press down firmly, and then pull the handle upward in one quick motion. This action creates suction to safely dislodge the blockage from the airway.

2.Who can use SFEIXE?

SFEIXE is designed to be intuitive. Anyone—even without medical training—can operate it effectively during a critical moment. Just remember: position, press, and pull.

3.What is the recommended age or weight for using SFEIXE?

SFEIXE does not have a strict age minimum. However, we recommend using the pediatric mask for individuals weighing at least 22 pounds. In situations where standard methods have failed, parents may choose to use it on smaller children at their own discretion.

4.Can SFEIXE push the object deeper or cause injury?

No. SFEIXE is engineered with a specialized one-way valve that releases air outward when pressed—never into the airway. This means there’s no risk of pushing the blockage deeper. The upward pull generates safe, effective suction to remove the object.

5.Should SFEIXE be used before the Heimlich maneuver?

SFEIXE is intended as a backup solution when traditional methods like abdominal thrusts are unsuccessful or not feasible. It is especially useful for vulnerable individuals such as the elderly, pregnant people, or those who are frail.

6.Can SFEIXE be used in different positions?

Yes. SFEIXE works effectively whether the person is standing, sitting, or lying down, and has been proven successful across all these scenarios.

7.Can I use SFEIXE on myself?

Absolutely. SFEIXE can be self-administered, providing critical aid for those who may be alone during a choking incident.

8.Is SFEIXE suitable for wheelchair users or pregnant individuals?

Yes. SFEIXE offers a safe and practical alternative for those who may not be able to receive conventional BLS procedures, including wheelchair users and pregnant people.

9.Can SFEIXE be reused in an emergency?

Yes, the SFEIXE unit can be used multiple times during the same choking incident. However, if the device has already been used, we advise replacing it before assisting another person for hygiene purposes. If you have used your SFEIXE, please complete our Usage Report form to receive a complimentary replacement unit.

10.Does SFEIXE have an expiration date? When should masks be changed?

The SFEIXE device itself does not expire. However, the masks should be replaced every two to three years, or according to the expiration date printed on the packaging. We also recommend regularly checking the masks for any visible damage or wear.

11.Should I store the mask attached to the device?

No. We advise storing the mask separately from the device. In an emergency, you may need to quickly choose between the adult or pediatric mask. Having the wrong mask pre-attached could slow down response time when seconds matter.

12.Can SFEIXE be stored in very hot or cold conditions?

We recommend avoiding long-term storage in extreme temperatures. That said, testing has shown that SFEIXE remains fully functional even after exposure to such conditions.

13.How do I detach the mask from the device?

Hold the mask between your fingers and thumb, then twist and pull off. Note that the mask does not need to be fully inserted flush against the device—over-insertion may make it harder to remove.

Standard shipping is free. Expedited shipping requires an additional $5 fee. Expedited shipping fees are non-refundable if the order is canceled.
